CAS FTL #106

Hope you all had a fun or relaxing Labor Day weekend.  I went camping for a few days and we had great weather all weekend; I think summer has finally arrived in the Bay Area!

It's been a few weeks since I participated in the Clean and Simple Blog layout challenges.  I needed to make a Congratulations card for my friend Amy who's about to delliver twins.  I'm not sure what the sex of the twins are so I incorporated a little bit of blue, pink and green on this card to cover all the bases.

Stampin' Up Supplies Used:

Stamps:  Everything Nice
Paper:  Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, In Color DSP Pack (Level 1 Hostess), Marina Mist
Ink:  Soft Suede

Another week, another Clean and Simple Blog challenge.  It's not too early to start thinking of Halloween, is it?  This stamp set is new this year.  I love the witch's shoes!  It reminds me of the musical Wicked for some reason.

I'm teaching a Halloween class on September 25th from 1 to 4pm.  We'll be making 5 Halloween packaging ideas for treats and favors.  The cost of the class is $20 and none of the projects we make will be posted on my blog.  It's exclusive for students only.  If interested in taking the class, email me at bellaconfetti@gmail.com or RSVP via the Bella Confetti Facebook group page here.

Ink:  Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Basic Black, Cajun Craze

Another week, another Clean and Simple Blog Layout challenge.

Hope you all had a good weekend. I had a lot going on, but still managed to work on my weekly blog projects.  I try to do as many of my blog postings as possible on the weekend in case the week gets busy.  So far I've been able to stick to my weekly goal of 4 to 5 postings; I've built up a good stash of cards and projects.  It's been great!  No more last minute crunches to crank out birthday cards.

CAS FTL #100

The Clean and Simple blog just reached its 100th layout milestone.  It's been fun participating in the challenges each week and I look forward to the new layouts each Thursday.  This stamp set is called Tropical Party and is from the Summer Mini which will be available thru August 31st.  I used a simple technique called Paper Piecing on this card which is a quick and easy way to add splashes of patterned color to a stamped image.

Stampin' Up Supplies Used:

Stamps:  Tropical Party, Full of Life
Ink:  Early Espresso, Rose Red, Peach Parfait
Paper:  Whisper White, Island Oasis DSP
Accessories:  Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Edge Border Punch
